Bootfitting,
explained

Who has never come back from a skiing session complaining of discomfort, pain or cold sensations in their ski boots? The starting point for all these annoyances is poorly fitting shoes. To avoid ruining any ski sessions, the idea of Bootfitting is to create a boot that is 100% adapted to the morphology of your foot. To achieve this goal, Bootfitting brings together a set of techniques, tools and know-how that allow the fit to be moulded to the contour of the foot.

Your custom-made skiing shoes at Trincaz Sports

Our experienced bootfitter will first analyse the morphological data of the skier’s foot: length, width, instep, tone, etc. This is then followed by the skier’s performance objectives: comfort, hold of the foot and ankle, transfer of support, etc. Their physical characteristics are also taken into consideration: height, weight, level, etc. Once all this information is combined, the technician works in several stages, on the sole (ready to wear or moulded) and the lining (thermoformed and then injected), according to your needs and your budget. The result is a comfortable glide and clearly optimised performance!
